Kerri believes that the community we have built in pre-natal yoga
doesn't have to end once the baby has come! She is now encouraging new
mothers to continue to attend the class sharing their experience.
Enjoy this special and incredible phase of life with yoga designed for pregnancy. Meet other mothers-to-be in a positive supportive environment. Yoga will help you feel good and prepare for baby's delivery.
In the Pre-Natal Yoga class the student will practice Gentle Postures to help increase flexibility and relieve discomfort. Breath Work or Pranayama helps to manage stress bringing calmness and comfort. Chanting helps to externalize feelings and emotions. Meditation enhances relaxation and defines focus. All this and more brings a new awareness to the Expecting Mom and her changing body. Post-natal moms welcome too.
The Postnatal class will be focused on yoga for mom, but at the end of every class we will spend some time playing with babies and catching up. This is a great opportunity to keep the community we have built going. The journey continues together. =)
Pricing for our prenatal class is the same as our other yoga classes. First time student's special: 3 classes for $30.00 Package of 10 classes: $150.00 Package of 20 classes: $280.00 Drop-in single class: $ 18.00
You can use packages for ANY yoga class at Yogadesha. There is NO expiration date.
Kerri McClain is our prenatal teacher. She feels a deep connection to mothers-to-be, who are blossoming flowers on their nine month journey. Pregnancy is the most beautiful time to build confidence and trust in yourself, as well as your precious unborn child that is also on this journey. Her goal is to mindfully guide the expectant mother on her path of bliss.
