about Sibylle... Reverend Sibylle Preuschat experienced, in her twenties, a health crisis for which conventional medicine had no answers. She realized then that to be of help to herself and eventually, others, she needed to begin learning far beyond what she had been taught about healthcare growing up. She has explored the world of holistic healing as open-mindedly as possible ever since. The question that guides her always is “What works?".
Sibylle is an essential oil educator and works exclusively with Young Living Essential Oils due to their unparalleled purity and potency. She is excited to offer essential oil anointings, called Raindrop Technique, to the Yoga Desha community, because in her experience, Raindrop is profoundly relaxing, revitalizing, immune-building, detoxifying, and highly supportive of the spine.
Sibylle is also a singer with many years training and has recently released a CD of healing meditations under her artist's name, Balsam, with drummer Alfredo Villela. (For more information, please visit www.loveandrespect.info. She is happy to sing for you during a Raindrop session if you feel that healing sound would add to your experience.
Sibylle brings to her sessions a great range of knowledge and experience. For thirteen years she worked as a journalist, writer/researcher, and editor in the field of holistic wellness and nutrition. Her numerous publication credits include four years as the health columnist for Toronto’s NOW magazine, the Toronto, Canada equivalent of the Village Voice <www.nowtoronto.com>. Her last book project of this career was editing the memoirs of Abram Hoffer, the founder of orthomolecular (nutrition-based) psychiatry.
In addition, Sibylle has third degree certification in Traditional Japanese Reiki (TJR), a Reiki system considered by many to be truest to the original teachings of Dr. Usui, founder of Reiki healing. She apprenticed for three years in the use of flower essences with Andrea Mathieson, founder of Raven Essences (www.ravenessences.com). She has also studied Mantak Chia’s system of Healing Tao with Anna Carling and is in the midst of extensive Tantric yoga studies with Dr. Jonn Mumford (www.jonnmumfordconsult.com). An expert kinesiologist (muscle tester/dowser), since arriving in New Jersey she has learned and taught the Therapeutic Kinesiology system as created by Myra Swanson and her student, Susan Pelechaty, CCA, (www.supportyourgrowth.com)
