Vinyasa Flow with Kristen Ambrosi ~ Wednesdays at 9:30am

Yoga is the harmonious union of body, mind and spirit.  Combining asana and dharma, this class explores the interweaving of the physical with the philosophical.  The nourishing practice of linking the breath with movement is taken deeper when infused with intention.  These vinyasa flow classes are designed to encourage the transformative opening of the body and the heart through a balance of effort and ease.

Students are guided through flowing salutations and mindful sequences, sustaining poses long enough to explore alignment details and improve the depth and quality of the breath.  Classes are centering and gently challenging.  Inversions, bound poses and arm balances are introduced.  Through detailed instruction, adjustments, assists, modifications, and varying degrees of intensity, classes nurture personal practice and honor individual pace.  Classes commence and close supplemented by the profound energetic benefits of chanting.  Massage regularly accompanies deep relaxation.  Students of all levels are welcome for a mindful midweek practice yielding a stretched, strengthened, centered and calm state.
